Literature and Fiction

Poetry has a long history. Those who love poetry find its words soothing, sympathetic, empathetic and romantic. It dates back at least to prehistoric times with hunting poetry in Africa and to panegyric and elegiac court poetry of the empires of the Nile, Niger, and Volta River valleys. The poems in this book are varied and what I term, "poetry in motion with a feel of rhythmic sleepwalking."

Poetry can be pain and sometimes pain is all someone knows. Poetry can be emotional, especially for someone who is dealing with their own emotional circle. Poems like "Woman Down," "Never Thought I Would Die So Young,""Bitter Womb," and "Cried Out Loud" are a few of the poems that were written to touch the reader's spirit. If you are a fan of poetry, then the verses in these poems offer something different. The Rhym ethic flow is Shakespeare in motion.
