After a late night on the town, New Haven police reporter Annie Seymour is called to cover the death of a beautiful Yale University co-ed, who she soon discovers had a secret life. Annie links the girl's death to a network of vice and fraud buried deep in the city's shadows, but is shocked to find that her own mother is involved.
