Kay Wilde
The name has been changed to protect the guilty.
The author chose the pseudonym Kay Wilde for - Kay - the
average, ordinary person she considers herself to be -
Wilde - for the secret side of our nature that most of us
keep in check and are wise enough not to expose for public
scrutiny. Considering the highly erotic content of the
Tempting Fate stories she considered it prudent to use a
pseudonym. Kay Wilde could be anyone, your next door
neighbor, your employer, the local librarian, your sister,
or even your own grandmother.
After speaking with women friends and acquaintances who
are
readers, Kay discovered that many of them do not read
novels during the week because they don't like stopping
once they become in-grossed in a book. They read
anthologies or short stories because they can get through
them in an evening and get to bed at a reasonable hour
before going to work the next morning. Several of Kay's
friends confessed that they read erotic love stories to
give them a sexual boost. Since most women work outside
the
home, they come home to their other full time job:
cooking,
cleaning, laundry, children/ homework/bath time, etc. etc.
etc. They're tired, and who feels sexy and romantic after
cleaning the commode?
Kay believes that while the average woman wants more
explicit sensual content, they also want a well written
love story with a plot, likable characters, and emotion
which separates a sensual love scene from a hot sex scene.
After allowing her closest, trusted friends to read the
Tempting Fate stories, she was thrilled when she received
thank you calls from several significant others.
Statistics
show that men whose wives read romance books have better
sex lives. She's all for doing her part to help cut down
on
the staggering divorce rate. Men have their Viagra. Kay
believes women deserve mental alternative.
Holiday Fantasies is the first short story collection in
the Tempting Fate Series. Kay is currently working on the
next collection, Tempting Fate - Paranormal, with several
more collections planned. She would genuinely appreciate
reader input. What are your fantasies? Just remember, to a
writer, nothing is sacred. You could well find your
fantasy
in a future story. The names will be changed to protect
the
guilty!
