Joyce Lamb started writing as a teenager, plunking her dad's electric typewriter on her bedroom floor and pounding away at it in her jams. She'd just finished reading Rage of Angels by Sidney Sheldon and found the unhappy ending inspiring. So, naturally, she decided to write romance novels, where the ending is guaranteed to be happy. Her second novel, Caught in the Act, was a 2004 Rita finalist in the romantic suspense category. True Colors, the second in her True trilogy, has just been released.
