Rich is an Emmy nominated actor and AudioFile Earphones Award winning voice-over artist with nearly 20 years of experience. He is a master mimic. Accents and dialects are his specialty and he is also one of the best imitators of celebrity and cartoon voices anywhere - which he began doing in school as a kid (much to the chagrin of teachers). However, creating original characters is what he enjoys most of all.
For the past several years, he has performed the one man show of Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 for The American Place Theatre’s Literature to Life Program, in venues across the country including Joe’s Pub at The Public Theatre. He has also garnered critical acclaim on stage in productions such as: Days of Wine and Roses as Joe Clay at The Schoolhouse Theatre, Gus in Harold Pinter’s Dumbwaiter and Stones in his Pockets at The Walnut Street Theatre. Most recently, he portrayed Sully in the Off Broadway musical 44 Lights.
Rich played former secret serviceman on Law and Order; Criminal Intent, and voiced many characters for RockStar Games’ Grand Theft Auto Series and Red Dead Redemption 2. Voiced animation for The Transformers, Rescue Bots, The Fixies, Marvel Comics Thor & Loki, and the lead antagonist in the feature film Sheep and Wolves and Inspector Sun and the Curse of the Black Widow among others. Rich has narrated over 80+ audio books including William Kent Krueger's Ordinary Grace, His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Wisdom of Compassion, Brad Taylor's Pike Logan series and Jodi Piccoult’s House Rules, for which he won the Golden Earphone Award. Rich was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for his inspired performances of all the animated characters for Discovery Kid’s The Icons of Science.
He has voiced thousands of commercial and political voice overs, animation projects, corporate narration, documentary narration, promos and audio books. He was a former long time student of the legendary acting teacher Wynn Handman. Rich has taught acting and voice-over professionally and at Rowan University, as well as serving as a dialect coach for productions such as The Schoolhouse Theatre’s critically acclaimed Dancing at Lughnasa. Rich brings passion, dedication and a sense of ensemble to every project that comes his way.
Outside of acting; Rich is forever curious about the world around him. He loves backpacking the globe, film, photography, sports, martial arts, science, nature, philosophy, good food, great friends and a cold beer. He's also a trained massage therapist and Rolfer. He believes in living life to the fullest and hopes to help leave the earth a better place than when he arrived.Rich has a beautiful daughter named Sedona.
