Josie Litton

Josie Litton is a pen name. I've written romances for quite a few years. The experience was wonderful in many ways and I certainly learned a lot but eventually I decided that I needed to re-invent myself. I wanted to present readers with a very consistent group of books, each one unique to itself but still in a style she could count on to be what she wanted. That seemed to call for a new name so there would be no confusion with anything else I had written. At this time, my publisher hasn't given me the go- ahead to say anything beyond this. I hope readers will understand and enjoy the many Josie Litton books I'm looking forward to writing.

The "Litton" part of Josie Litton came about because I've always heard you stand a better chance of having your book stacked at or near eye level if your last name is in the middle of the alphabet. I have no idea if that's true but I figured I could use all the help I could get. As for "Josie", that comes from the old cartoon series, "Josie and the Pussycats" which, I confess, I loved. For anyone who's wondering, I still watch cartoons. "Dexter's Lab" is my current favorite but Dexter Litton didn't sound like a good name for a romance writer. :)
