Frederick G. Yeager

Frederick G. Yeager

Frederick grew up on a farm near the small town of Whiting, Iowa.  He received a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of South Dakota and a law degree from George Washington University.

After receiving his law degree, Frederick practiced law in Sioux City, Iowa before moving to Chicago, Illinois. In Chicago, he was a vice president in the tax department of a large, international bank.

After leaving the bank, he worked as an international consultant in legal development.  He started his consulting career with the American Bar Association’s Central and Eastern European Law Initiative (CEELI).  After five years with CEELI, he worked with different consulting companies as the Chief of Party on legal development projects in Croatia, Armenia, Nepal, Albania, and Moldova.

He is working on a book set in Nepal during the civil conflict between the Nepal government and the Maoists, a revolutionary group fighting to overthrow the Nepal government.

Frederick lives in Sarasota Florida and is a member of the Sarasota Fiction Writers, Florida Writers Association, and  Florida Authors & Publishers Association.
