C.W. Towarnicki

Chad Towarnicki grew up in a family with a strong outdoorsing tradition in SE Pennsylvania. He successfully paid off tuition debt from Penn State, University of Montana, Temple University (BA), Delaware Valley College (Teaching Certs), and Arcadia University Edinburgh (MFA Creative Writing).

He writes historical fiction and nonfiction related to history, the environmental sciences, and education.

Many of these drafts are discussed with students while teaching in room 272 at Wissahickon Middle School, in Ambler PA. Lesson plans are a full scale experimentation in Differentiation and Universal Design for Learning.

His debut Novel, Notes from a Deserter, will be published by History Through Fiction Press in the Spring of 2025. Preorders will be available beginning in January.

As hobbies he tends to goats, chickens, and bees (and his kids). His current research is an overview of the Pennsylvania Lumber Era of the late 1800s.
