Natalie Keller Reinert

Natalie Keller Reinert

Natalie Keller Reinert is the author of multiple series including The Eventing Series, Ocala Horse Girls, and Briar Hill Farm. Her novel The Hidden Horses of New York is the winner of the America Horse Publications Best Fiction Award and The Equus Film & Literary Festival Best Horse Racing Fiction Award; her novel Turning for Home was a finalist for the $10,000 Dr. Tony Ryan Book Award.

Originally from Hagerstown, Maryland, Reinert grew up in Central Florida and now lives in North Florida, where she writes full-time and enjoys the company of her family, horses, and cat. She’s always working on at least three new projects, is probably plotting a book festival or a new kind of magazine, and co-hosts the award-winning equestrian humor podcast Adulting With Horses Podcast, along with fellow author Heather Wallace.

In addition to Reinert’s interconnected equestrian series (which some fans have nicknamed “the Ocala-verse” since so many series are set in and around the horse-rich town of Ocala, Florida) she also enjoys writing romantic comedy and literary fiction. Her novel You Must Be This Tall explores the world of theme parks and fandom with a richly imagined theme park called America the Beautiful as its setting, while her romantic comedies take readers on swoony journeys through New York City, Palm Springs, and beyond.
