Lucy Vine

Lucy is a really brilliant author, a decent journalist, and a big fan of Oxford commas.

She’s the best-selling author of novels, Hot Mess, What Fresh Hell, Are We Nearly There Yet? and Bad Choices, published with Orion. Her fifth book, Seven Exes, with Simon & Schuster, is out 25 May 2023, with book 6 scheduled for summer 2024. Her books have been bought in 17 territories - including the US, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Serbia, Japan, the Netherlands, Czech, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Finland, Slovakia, Sweden - with Hot Mess optioned for a TV series in America. Hot Mess and Are We Nearly There Yet? have both been longlisted for the very brilliant Comedy Women In Print book award.

Lucy has been writing for magazines and newspapers since 2005, with her work appearing in the likes of GRAZIA, Stylist, heat, Fabulous, New, Now, marie claire, Glamour, COSMOPOLITAN, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Sun and The Mirror.

Lucy is also an events host (available for hire!), and ran a regular event and podcast series featuring conversations with funny women, called the Hot Mess Clubhouse. It made her friends laugh at least, so that’ll do.
