Wendii McIver

Wendii McIver is a young Australian author born and raised in the coalfields of Queensland. She is a miner and university student who began her writing journey at fourteen, posting stories on Wattpad which have now accumulated over five million reads worldwide.

Her award-winning novel, Relic and Ruin, was one of the top 10 most read stories online in 2016 and is to be published on JUNE 7th, 2022 with Penguin and Wattpad Books.

Her short story Armie was dubbed one of the 35 most life-changing reads. It was also the basis for the short film of the same name featured at the London Experimental Film Festival in 2019.
