Jean Drew

Originally from England, Jean now lives in Auckland, New Zealand. She always wanted to write but wasn't sure what until a friend introduced her to romance. It was love at first read, and she quickly realized that writing about the healing power of love was what she wanted to do. With a head full of ideas in varying stages of development, she is working at making writing a full time career. A confirmed and unashamed bookaholic, as her office will attest, her other interests include ancient Egypt, old movies, theatre, music, travel and good conversation. A firm believer in never giving up on dreams, when she isn't reading romance she regularly reads books on personal development and human potential. Jean is the founder of Romance Writers of New Zealand which in 11 years has grown from six members who met in the back room of her house, to an international organization, including 3 from the US. She has been a columnist/reviewer with a group of NZ newspapers, specializing in TV and theatre.
