Sarah Alderson

Sarah’s obsession for 80s action movies, 90s thrillers (and Buffy), and a morbid curiosity about the darker ages of history, bleeds into her writing.

As well as screenwriting for both TV and film she is the author of almost twenty novels in the YA and psychological thriller genres and is proud to have been published by four of the big five publishers (Simon & Schuster, Hachette, Harper Collins and Pan Macmillan). Her books have sold hundreds of thousands of copies and been translated into a dozen languages.

Having spent most of her life in London, Sarah quit her job in 2009 and, together with her husband and toddler daughter, took off on a round-the-world trip.

Sarah now lives in California and works predominantly as a screenwriter in TV and film, while continuing to publish one or two books a year.

She is currently writing for the CBS show S.W.A.T. and has several original projects in development.
