John Argo

John Argo is the primary Web publishing pseudonym of John T. Cullen, a San Diego author. He has published nearly fifty books (fiction and nonfiction). Born in Europe (U.S. Army brat), he holds dual U.S./E.U. citizenship. After spending his childhood in Europe, he grew up in New Haven, Connecticut, earning a B. A. in English at the University of Connecticut. By age 19, he had written his first novel, written over 400 poems, and worked several summers a student intern newspaper reporter. He spent three years after college in a starving artist (author) phase, hitch-hiking all over the United States. He settled in San Diego, California and soon joined the U.S. Army. He served two enlistments in West Germany, earning an M.S. in Business Administration from Boston University (Overseas Div., Heidelberg) in time for his Honorable Discharge. He settled permanently in San Diego, where he worked for years as a technical writer/analyst primarily in the aerospace and computer systems development industries. He retired in the 1990s to devote his full attention as a pioneer in digital and alternative publishing. While in his twenties (long ago), he vowed to write a novel a year for the rest of his life; he has lived up to that commitment (plus some).
