R.M. Greenaway

RM GREENAWAY has worked in nightclubs, darkrooms, and courthouses. She writes the B.C. Blues crime series, featuring RCMP detectives Leith and Dion. Her first novel COLD GIRL, winner of the 2014 Arthur Ellis Unhanged award, will be released 26 March 2016, with more to follow. She now lives in Nelson, B.C. She began writing at the age of five. They weren't great books, with narrow plotlines and wonky story arcs, centring on such life experiences as a baby tooth falling out. She soon abandoned the memoire genre as she discovered she was God the Creator of Characters that Don't Actually Exist, and hasn't looked back. Over the years she has written a formidable tower of manuscripts. Most have ended up in the shredder, but page by page she has improved her skills, and now feels quite confident that most words she puts down are keepers.
