Kermit Alexander

As the oldest of 14 children, Kermit faced incredible challenges both on and off the field, but nothing that would compare to the senseless murder of his mother, sister and two nephews back in 1984 by LA's Crip gang members. He now travels the world telling his story and how that even forever changed his life.
The proud father of two grown children, Kermit and his wife Tami have just adopted five children from Haiti - a sibling group ranging from 9 to 16. Thanks to the Humanitarian efforts by the United States & Haiti, the devastating earthquake opened the window of opportunity to bring the children home after a five-year wait.
Determined to finish the wind and solar project in Haiti, Kermit travels the world speaking to audiences large and small on topics from life in the inner city, to life in a third world country, to life on the gridiron. Kermit & Tami also educate audiences on adoption, education, marriage, family, sports and community involvement. In addition to public speaking, Kermit enjoys warm weather golf, long-distance cycling, a great ride on the thoroughbred, backyard baseball with the kids and a quiet evening of Jazz.
