Mason Ian Bundschuh

Mason Ian Bundschuh is a Las Vegas based author and musician.He claims to write speculative fiction, because it's easier than saying sci-fi and fantasy and horror and things that are literary but with a twist and stuff. Some of his favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, Charles Beaumont, Philip K. Dick, Jorge Luis Borges, Tolkien, G.K. Chesterton and Dostoevsky. And because you can't be all writerly 24/7, Mason gets all musical up in here as the front man of the alternative rock band Atlas Takes Aim and moonlights in the modern rock band Aurea Verba. Other hobbies include, but are not limited to: philosophy, Old English and Anglo-Saxon, long walks on the beach, being in the best literary critique group ever, and giving his children Tauntaun rides. Before transitioning into writing, Mason held jobs as a student driving instructor, pizza maker, bookseller, water softener salesman, aviation specialist and drug compliance officer- none of which he ever wants to do for a living again. Mason is a member of the Las Vegas Writers Group and the co-founder of Electric Editing Co., a book editing service specializing in professional critique for genre fiction. He's also the Prime Instigator for the secret sect of wombat writers known only as The Illiterati. He also bested six would-be-grooms in hand to hand combat to win the heart of his wife.
