James M. Jackson

Known as James Montgomery Jackson on his tax return (and to his mother whenever she was really upset with him). Jim splits his time between the deep woods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Georgia's Lowcountry. He claims the moves between locations are weather-related, but others suggest they may have more to do with not overstaying his welcome. As James M. Jackson, he authors the Seamus McCree series including novels ANT FARM, BAD POLICY, CABIN FEVER, DOUBTFUL RELATIONS, EMPTY PROMISES, and the novella LOW TIDE AT TYBEE, which first appeared in the anthology LOWCOUNTRY CRIME: Four Novellas. The Seamus McCree series are suspense/thrillers with a financial crime twist. Jim also authored a book on contract bridge, One Trick at a Time: How to Start Winning at Bridge, which was published by Master Point Press (2012). He has written numerous short stories and essays.
