Brooklyn James is an author/singer/songwriter who enjoys life in the Live Music Capital of Austin, Texas. Her first novel, THE BOOTS MY MOTHER GAVE ME, features an original music soundtrack, and was chosen as a Quarter Finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards. Brooklyn holds a Master's in Communication, and a Bachelor's in Nursing and Animal Science. Her second novel, VIGILARE, is an adaptation from a short narrative film. The second book in the Trilogy...VIGILARE: HELL HOUND debuts June 2012. Brooklyn's next project will be another book and music soundtrack combo, to be released fall 2012.
