David Good

David Good

David Good was born and raised in the city of West Alexandria, Ohio, a community with just 1,500 people. Living in a house surrounded by 150 acres of farmland, David tended to the livestock and baled straw from a very young age, sometimes 15 hours a day. Growing up around his father’s trucking and warehousing business, and often rising at 3 a.m. to drive cement with his father to Dundee, Michigan — David drove his first semi-truck when he was 14 years old, and started hauling loads when he was 16. At Twin Valley High School, he was a standout performer in football and basketball. Upon graduating in 2000 (with just 93 students in his class), he initially received a basketball scholarship to Ashland University (a Division II school), but soon transferred to Miami University of Ohio, where he played football.A born entrepreneur like his father, David originally went to work as a broker for a truckload freight company – first in Cincinnati and later in Tampa, Florida. After a period time working in the family business in Camden, OH, he moved on to found Man Code, LLC. David gained national notoriety in 2009 when he first appeared on ABC’s “The Bachelorette: Season 5” (Jillian Harris’ season). On the show, he won the first-impression rose.
