Jan Jenkins

Jan Jenkins

Jan Jenkins is the author of Footprints of Courage, the first look inside the tragic and untold saga of the Chris Jenkins murder investigation undertaken by the family who loved him. As an award-winning leadership consultant, and mother of Chris and Sara, Jan is uniquely qualified to write her family's six-year struggle for justice.

Throughout her 30-year career as an international workshop leader, keynote speaker, executive coach, and facilitator of change, Jan Jenkins has supported thousands of people in finding the courage to create better lives. An educator at heart, she has successfully served a wide range of clients from small companies to the Fortune 100, as well as secondary and collegiate education. Her dynamic, insightful approach has helped individuals, teams, and organizations to embrace the future by building healthier, more energizing environments that grow talent and produce results.

In their relentless quest to find Chris and seek justice, Jan and her husband, Steve, have appeared on Good Morning America, On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, Anderson Cooper 360, Hannity & Colmes, as well as many other local and national newscasts. Jan and Steve Jenkins currently live in Minnesota. NBC will air Chris's life and death as a one-hour unsolved crime story in 2010. National media is working on other stories, which will also be released in 2010.
