Judith Hausman

Until recently, Judith Hausman was the food critic and a feature writer and for The Journal News (Gannett Suburban Newspapers) for over twelve years, as well as the food columnist for NY House. Her work appears regularly in Westchester Magazine and she is also a local editor for Zagats Survey. She is intimately knowledgeable of the region s food, farms and residents, reporting frequently on farmers, home cooks, chefs and small producers in the Lower Hudson Valley. Judith has written about Rainbeau Ridge repeatedly as the farm has evolved. She is also a Rainbeau Ridge CAP member, a long-time friend of Schwartz and the farm and a dedicated locavore. She holds a Masters in Education from Boston University, continues to teach in addition to writing and lives in South Salem, NY, where her children, Benjamin and Hannah Tressler, visit frequently.
