Marianne Kirby

Marianne Kirby is an Orlando-based writer, editor, artist, cat-owning, feminist-theorizing, blue-hair-dyeing, fatty. She helps moderate the livejournal community Fatshionista, blogs at The Rotund, sells mixed media pieces and jewelry at a gallery called Naked Art (which is not to say it is all nudes - just that the art tends to be function and nonpretentious), and generally has herself a good time. Oh, she also has a book coming out. Lessons From the Fatosphere: How To Live With the Body You’ve Got (at least, that’s the title right now - it’s already changed three times *grin*) will be available in bookstores everywhere (US, Australia/New Zealand, and Spanish rights have already been secured) in May of 2009.
