Well, what do you want to know? I'm a Southern gal with the accent to match, and yes, I love sweet potatoes! I like my tea iced and sweetened, my pie homemade, and mustard and relish on my hotdogs. I sometimes let men open doors for me -- they need to feel useful, the darlings -- and I definitely had relatives in the Revolutionary War. In fact, one of my great great great grandaddies, a Baptist preacher, got arrested by the British, released, and arrested again because he went back to fetch his boots! Hard to get good boots in those days. However, I have never been in a beauty pageant, I do not wear pretty hats on Easter, and I have never followed up a mean comment with "Bless your heart!" I read voraciously, in all sorts of genres. If I want to have a conversation with somebody, I have to make sure I can't see any text or I automatically start reading it. I have been known to read my husband's computer programming magazines when there was nothing else to be had. I'm happily married with children and, shock shock, lots and lots of cats! I write mmmmarvelous fiction that doesn't leave out the naughty bits. I don't write very fast, but encouragement from my fans would definitely inspire me to find more time! I also write other stuff. Grocery lists. Emails. God, so many emails.
