"Gourmet cooking is not rocket science," says Jennifer
Bushman. "Once you learn the fundamentals, a world of
wonderful recipes and experiences opens." Jennifer Bushman started Nothing To It! Cooking School in
1995. Since then, the school has grown from classes around
Jennifer's kitchen table to its current location in the
6,000 square foot Nothing To It! Culinary Center. The
Culinary Center includes a cooking school with hands-on and
demonstration classes taught by Jennifer and a variety of
master chefs, a gourmet deli, and a kitchen store. More than
500 students a month take cooking classes at the center.
Thousands more are reached through Jennifer's Nothing To It!
programs on television and radio. Jennifer brings a fresh, 'non-professional' approach to
culinary education. She acquired her initial culinary
passion early in life from her mother, and honed her
teaching skills at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
She developed her culinary skills through intensive
self-study, experimentation and professional education at
various culinary programs throughout the world.
