Robert C. Atkins

Robert Atkins, M.D. has been acclaimed around the world as an authority on diet and nutrition, and is the founder and director of the Atkins Center for Complementary Medicine. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Cornell University Medical College, he was the author of seven best-selling books on diet and nutrition. He died in 2003 after a fall on ice in New York City.
