Janis Jibrin

Janis Jibrin, M.S., R.D., author of Good Housekeeping's The Supermarket Diet, is a Washington, DC-based nutritionist who specializes in weight loss and eating disorders. A nutrition writer for GoodHousekeeping.com, she has also written two other books and more than 100 healthy-eating articles for consumer magazines. Janis is also the coauthor of Dr. Health'nstein's Body Fun (StarPress, 1994), an educational CD-ROM that teaches children good eating habits. When Janis isn't counseling clients and writing articles, she covers nutrition for national radio and television.
