Teresa Bodwell
Any story about me has to start with this--my blood runs
Girl Scout green. My oldest daughter wanted to be a Girl
Scout and there was no leader for her troop. Somehow, I
ended up with that position. Since then, I've lead troops
for both of my daughters, become a Girl Scout trainer and
held more volunteer positions than I care to name here.
I'm proud to be a lifetime member of the world's finest
organization dedicated to helping girls grow into strong
young women and future leaders. Cookies, anyone? Can girls become strong leaders and still believe in
romance? I think so. We can all hope for a happy ending,
but a strong woman realizes that her happiness is not
dependant on Prince Charming. I also work part-time as an attorney. My passion is
helping people who are dealing with small consumer
problems. I'm lucky enough to work in an office that
offers very low-cost legal services to help folks with all
kinds of problems--from divorces and adoptions to minor
criminal charges and consumer disputes. Sometimes it's a
fun job; sometimes it's frustrating. Often it isn't
possible for my clients to achieve a truly good outcome.
That's why the rest of my life is devoted to making HAPPY
ENDINGS GUARANTEED. Writing romances is the only job in the world that can
make that guarantee and that is why I love writing. Check
out my short story--Presence of Mind--about an absent-
minded romance novelist. It is absolutely not
autobiographical, honest.
