Sir Robert and his fighting dragon partner Growloranth,
better known as Growly, finds a sobbing maiden by a small
waterfall and are pleasantly shocked when she proves to be
able to communicate with dragons. A rare ability and one
that gives hope to Robert, for he and Growly's mate
Tildeth's knight, Sir Bernard, nicknamed Bear, have been
seeking such a woman in hopes that she would be theirs.
Now
they must do their duty to the Lair and play the game of
HIDDEN DRAGON while investigating the nearby village as
well as hope to lure this beauty to their Lair.
Isabelle is intrigued by the dragons, never having seen
one
up close and to have one before her is amazing. The
knights
are also intriguing and gentlemanly ... compared to the
treatment of the villagers. In a moment of concern she
allows them to shelter from the rain in her dilapidated
barn and they accept.
This gives Robert and Bernard the perfect vantage point.
They can investigate the village and keep an eye on lovely
Isabelle. Whether they can entice her to come to the
Border
Lair or not as their mate, they know they can't leave her
to face the danger they know is coming. When the time
comes
they must take her to the Lair and hope once there she
will
learn that loving two knights has an advantage.
HIDDEN DRAGON takes us back to author Bianca D'Arc's
fantastic Dragon Knights series and it is as
fantastic
and fresh as the first one. This book gives you a little
bit more of the daily life in the Lair and revisits past
characters, but it is truly the story of Robert, Bear and
Isabelle ... and of course Growly and Tilly who complete
this
little family. I enjoyed the getting to know you part that
is played out because it gives the readers more time to
get
to know them and enjoy the anticipation that comes from it
all. The secret of Isabelle's parentage comes to light but
to me that comes second to the amazing ability she has
with
healing and her voice. I love this series of Ms. D'Arc's
and hope there are more to come as I am always ready to
escape to this amazing world.
Love flourishes when two knights unexpectedly find the
woman
of their dreams…
Sir Robert finds a beautiful maiden sobbing by a small
waterfall. She proves to be a very special woman who can
communicate with dragons. She lives alone in the forest,
on
the edge of a village Robert and his fighting partner,
Bear,
have been sent to investigate. When she invites them to
shelter from the rain in her barn, they accept, using her
place as a vantage point for their surveillance of the
town
below.
Both knights are drawn to the fair maiden. Could she be
the
one to share their lives? Their dragon partners certainly
think so.
When they discover a treasonous plot in the village, they
must act quickly. Will they be in time to stop the enemy
from gaining a strategic foothold in their land? And will
they be able to protect the woman who has become precious
to
them, even while the battle rages?
And most important, when the dust settles, can they
convince
her to stay in the Lair with them...forever?
Other books in this series include: Maiden Flight, The
