In this short paranormal romance we meet Michael and Lisette. Michael is the leader of his coven and he is destined to find his soulmate, the other half of his power, so that, together, they can restore the coven's ability to shape-shift. But that does not stop him from desperately wanting Lisette, a mortal undergrad student. Having such strong feelings for her, that he believes cannot go anywhere, Michael casts a spell on Lisette so that she will move on without him. Having discovered her destiny and the terrible fate of her parents, Lisette needs the protection of the local coven, and she needs to find the warlock that is meant to complete her. When she realises that Michael is in charge, and is her other half in every way, she struggles with her feelings. Lisette loves Michael but is scared that he will hurt her again. She does not know if she can trust his feelings for her. But as they try to build their relationship, time is against them, and the evil entity responsible for murdering Lisette's parents is determined to take her for himself. Will Lisette and Michael admit their feelings and merge their magic together in time, or will all be lost?
WITCH'S TATTOO by Eliza March is an entertaining, short, paranormal romance. I enjoyed the characters of Michael and Lisette, and the friendships that were also introduced in the story. I would love to read more about Lisette and Michael's journey as this short story is great for whetting the appetite.
