Investigative reporter Sarah Newton works for Truth
magazine uncovering the real deal behind controversial
stories. Especially murders, a subject she knows a little
something about.
When one teenager is found dead and another goes missing
in a sleepy, tight-knit Maine town, Sarah heads there to
find and expose the truth behind these crimes, not to
mention possibly help find the killer before another girl
dies.
Kale Connor, a newly elected city councilman, is awarded
the dubious honor of keeping Sarah under control. Neither
he nor the local law enforcement, nor many of the town's
residents, trust her, and they don't want their town
slammed in the national media—or their secrets unmasked—
even if it means delaying justice and perhaps allowing a
killer to go free.
Again.
From the beginning, FIND ME is a nail biter. The suspense
kept ramping up with unexpected twists popping up again
and again. At the same time, the sexual tension heated
up, unleashed in scenes as sexy as any, if not always
particularly romantic.
At first, I found it difficult to buy into any hint of a
relationship between Sarah and Kale but by the time the
killer was caught, I found myself rooting for them as much
as for a satisfying ending to the crimes.
Investigative reporter Sarah Newton debunks
supernatural myths, and forces the truth to light whether
people want to hear it or not. Now, with a popular teenager
found tortured and murdered—and another girl missing—Sarah’s
out to prove it’s not the work of an ancient curse, but a
cold blooded killer. She’ll expose one Maine village’s
darkest secrets …while keeping the truth about her own past
hidden from view.
As Youngstown’s newest councilman,
Kale Conner’s unofficial job is to minimize the bad
publicity from Sarah’s stories and, if possible, to keep her
in line. But with time running out, and his own family at
stake, Kale’s finding his neighbors’ terrible deeds might be
too deadly to sweep under the rug…and he and Sarah are
headed toward a heated endgame with only one shocking way
out...
