Romance Suspense
Crusty sheriff Cade Evigan doesn't date convicts, not even
ones as irresistible as Katrina "K.K." Killian. The woman
may have gotten under his skin—and once, on the hood of his
car—but the sultry biker had criminal written all over her.
He has to stay away. When the crap hits the fan and the case she’s been working
on for two years cracks wide open, Katrina heads straight to
the hills to protect the one man she cares about. But some
temptations are impossible to resist and she knows if she
stays with Cade for the night, odds are her cover isn't the
only thing getting blown... This novella was originally part of the "Undercover Lovers"
anthology and can still be purchased as part of the full or
here, on it's own.

Re: Convicted
Women are a bit complex. They have that hidden "bad girl" side that they keep hidden, and when the time is right, they pull out the books, and read them. I was also raised to be a "good girl." When I reached a certain age (won't reveal it), I decided that I earned the right to open my mouth a little more, so I did. I'm not vulgar now, but I don't take as much from people as I used to. I'm a bit more outspoken than I used to be, without being nasty. Reading your book would be interesting, because I could probably get some extra pointers. If my Mother was still alive, and I wrote books like yours, I wouldn't let her read them, either. What I would consider is writing another series that was on the clean side, too, and let her read those. That way you can be happy, and she would be happy, because she had something to read and show friends and family. (Peggy Roberson 11:09am August 19, 2014)
