Romance | Fantasy Steampunk

A fear she can't escape

Ten years ago, Perry fled her thrall contract to find sanctuary among the Nighthawks. In that time, she's become a respected woman of the Guard, and she's wanted Garret Reed for as long as she can remember. But when a new case takes a chillingly familiar turn, Perry finds herself once again in the path of a madman...only this time, there's nowhere left to run.

A desire that can't be tempered

Out of their depth and racing against time, Perry and Garrett must learn to trust the desire sparking between them...or risk losing themselves forever to the darkness stalking London's streets.

Re: Forged by Desire

I took advantage of the freebie! Thank you! I had never even
tried Steampunk, actually had to ask my 70 something Mom what
it was. Then one day I decided to read a book listed as
Steampunk. I was absolutely hooked!!! I think I'll take the
day and try out yours. Thanks again for letting everyone know
about the freebie!!

My ideal date would be a romantic dinner in Paris or Florence. Your series sounds great, I'm putting it on my to be read list.

ideal date? hhmmmmmmmm... I can give plenty of examples of terrible dates but an ideal date is extremely hard to come up with. i'll keep it simple. a date with a man who pays more attention to me then his electronics or other people.

I absolutely love this series! The stories and the covers are
just so amazing, I can't get enough ;) I totally got Garret
as my perfect match from the quiz. Although, I would have
taken Lynch too :D

Hi Vicki! Great! Hope you enjoy. Please note though, that The Curious Case of
The Clockwork Menace is set three years before Forged and features the same
characters, so it's not a HEA romance - more of a mystery with hints of romance
blossoming for one of the characters. It was a lot of fun to write!

@Yuka Man, I'm hearing you on Paris! That would be amazing. I'm also pointing
my boyfriend this way, hint hint...

@Angela I did have a bit of a chuckle here, because every time I go out for
dinner lately, I see people on their phones, ignoring their partner! Sometimes
simple works (:

@Krysten Glad you enjoyed the quiz! It was kind of fun. And Garrett's one of my
favourite heroes, so you're in luck!

I haven't dated in over 7 years so can't even imagine going
on a date. That's why I love to read so I can live through
the characters. It's much easier that way!

I've had my ideal date. Some years ago, my husband and I
took a trip to England which included the Isle of Wight. It
was slightly off season, but lovely weather. We ate, one
evening, at a small restaurant on the coast. We were the
only ones in the restaurant, so we had wonderful
personalized service, and a romantic view over the channel
towards England on a clear, moonlit night. It just came
together, and probably couldn't have been planned.
