Pam spent many years writing for advertising agencies and corporations before setting off on her own as a free-lance writer, providing copy for brochures, catalogs, video scripts, and other promotional materials for clients. Although she was an avid reader, she never considered writing a book.

All that changed with the birth of her first child. It might have been the combination of changing diapers, working from the house, and writing a video script about motors and drives--or it might have been because she's a hopeless romantic--but whatever the reason, one afternoon when the baby was asleep she started writing a novel.

That first book, while it holds a special place in her heart, is buried deep in her attic never to see the light of day. Pam has learned a lot about the craft of writing since finishing that book and is happy to report she no longer has to write anything about motors and drives!

Pam lives in Wisconsin with her three children, and a very active Malty-poo (Maltese/poodle mix dog).
