Britta Coleman

Britta Coleman's debut novel, POTTER SPRINGS, is a June 2005 hardcover release from Center Street (Warner Books). A creative writing instructor and journalist, Britta's journey into fiction has garnered national media attention, critical praise and endorsements from bestselling authors.

After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in English, Britta worked as a communications consultant in Houston. Her "Practically Parenting" column is published as a regular newspaper feature, and her writing has appeared FYI Television Features, Heroes for Humanity, the Amarillo Globe-News and the Fort Worth Star- Telegram.

Britta enjoys speaking to groups about the craft of writing and daring to live out one's dreams without running away from home. An almost native-Texan (she arrived at age six), she lives in Fort Worth with her husband Kern, two children and a fussy Chihuahua named Rosie.
