Joyce Tremel
Joyce Tremel was a police secretary for ten years and more than once envisioned the demise of certain co-workers, but settled on writing as a way to keep herself out of jail. She is the author of the award winning Brewing Trouble mysteries set in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh and Deadly To The Core—A Cider House Mystery.
As Joyce St. Anthony, she writes the Homefront News Mysteries featuring intrepid reporter Irene Ingram, who runs the Progress Herald newspaper and solves murders in a small town in Pennsylvania in 1942. Front Page Murder and Death on a Deadline were released in 2022.
A native Pittsburgher, Joyce now lives in the Laurel Highlands with her husband and two cats named Hops and Lager.
