Katherine Cobbs left her first publishing job at National Geographic for the West Coast where she attended culinary school in order to combine her love of food with her passion for writing. For fifteen years she has written and developed recipes for magazines such as Cooking Light, Cottage Living, Southern Accents, and Executive Traveler, websites such as Tastebook.com and Cooking.com and for book projects for Warner Books, Time-Life, Oxmoor House, Williams-Sonoma, and Artisan. She recently co-authored Bottega Favorita - A Southern Chefs Love Affair with Italian Food.
