Tracie Sommers

Tracie Sommers

Tracie has always loved words and books. She can't remember how old she was when she first picked up a book. But it was Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree series that really got her hooked. At the age of twelve Tracie fell in love with Africa after reading Men of Men by Wilbur Smith and went on to devour all his other books. In her late teens she found the master storyteller Stephen King. She would lose herself in stories full of monsters and the heroes who defeated them. In a world so much like our own but with a twistβ€”usually a very nasty twist. But she was in love, even if she still can't walk in front of a street drain without the fear of a psycho clown reaching out to grab her ankle. When she first met the man who later became her husband, he introduced her to a whole new world of fantasy in the form of Magician by Raymond E. Feist. Suddenly there was J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Pratchett and many other fantasy authors to enjoy. She had new worlds to explore and new characters to love or hate. In 2004, after a lifetime of reading, Tracie decided to try writing her own stories. By taking bits and pieces from all the genres she loves, she started writing dark paranormal tales and, most recently, paranormal erotica. Tracie lives in Australia with her husband, two sons and three cats.
