    C. C. Harrison’s novel, THE CHARMSTONE, is a romantic mystery set in Monument Valley on the Navajo Indian Reservation where she worked as a VISTA Volunteer. Her new book, RUNNING FROM STRANGERS, about a child advocate who finds herself on the run with a child in her care, was inspired by her experiences in the child protection social services system. Release is set for September 2008. When she’s not writing, reading, or working out at the gym, she can be found in the mountains of Colorado or in some far-flung corner of the Southwest.
