Pseudonym: Brenda K. Jernigan.

Brenda Jernigan was a tomboy at a young age; climbing trees and playing ball with the neighborhood boys. As a growing teenager, reading romance novels was not her favorite past time, either. It wasn't until she started taking her son to story hour at the local library that Brenda discovered her first romance novel DEVIL'S DESIRE by Laurie McBain. After that book Brenda was hooked.

Ten years ago after reading THE LION'S LADY by Julie Garwood, Brenda decided she wanted to write a book, too, and make someone smile just like she had with Julie's book.

With a lot of hard work and many revisions, Brenda saw her dream come true. "Very few people hear the words 'I want to buy your book', but I'm a dreamer and wouldn't give up."

Brenda is a member of Romance Writers of America, which has a membership of over 8,000. The is also a member of Outreach International Romance Writers and Heart of Carolina Romance Writers. Her book have been printed in several languages, and DANCE ON THE WIND will be featured in Rhapsody Book Club.

Brenda lives in Lillington, North Carolina with her husband and two basset hounds - Winston and Alexandria. And she loves to hear from fans.

A portion of all books sold goes to HOSPICE in memory of her mother who died much too young of breast cancer.
