    Maryrose Wood has acted on Broadway, made drunk people laugh in comedy clubs, and won some cool awards for her work as a lyricist and librettist. She’s also the author of four YA novels: Sex Kittens and Horn Dawgs Fall in Love, My Life: The Musical, Why I Let My Hair Grow Out and How I Found the Perfect Dress. A native of Long Island, Maryrose graduated from NYU’s Gallatin School. Right now she’s working on a new book and a screenplay. She lives in New York with her two children and a feisty, red-headed dog.
