Wow. I mean, wow. It does sound like an interesting plot , and the idea of an academy for vamps actually made me laugh.

This sounds a bit like another book I read called 'Rowan of the Wood'. Rowan also contains a tough girl (though I wanted to know more about her in the story) and the need for protection is a main theme of the story, for sure!

It throws some vampires in with the Wizards to make for a great combination. Oh, and the main character's name is Cullen, not Rowan. That was a neat twist. Anyway, you can find out more at:Rowanofthewood.com
