I love my heroes to be rough around the edges. Take ky favorite hero, Eric Northman of Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire/Sookie Stackhouse novel. In books 6-14, Eric is Sookie's hero and protector in any way possible; usually by employing his bad boy ways. I mean, who doesn't love a bad boy?
