Jillian Burns fell in love while reading such classics as Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice and has been reading Romance novels ever since. She lives in Texas with her husband of twenty-five years and their three active kids. She likes to think her emotional nature—sometimes referred to as moodiness by those closest to her—has found the perfect outlet in writing stories filled with passion and romance. She believes romance novels have the power to change lives with their message of eternal love and hope. Currently, she is working on her 10th novel for Harlequin Blaze. Her next release, entitled CABIN FEVER, will be out in September 2014 and is the first in a trilogy about Navy SEALs. For more information and excerpts you can visit her website www.jillianburns.com

Re: Last Resort: Marriage (2:00pm June 17, 2009):

My all-time favorite keeper book is called PRINCE OF MIDNIGHT by Laura Kinsale. It's a Histoircal that broke all the rules and all the molds for romance. The Hero is a ruthless duke who has a stroke that renders him incapable of speech for most of the book. He's judged to be insane and thrown in an asylum and only the intuition and strength of a strict Methodist heroine saves him. You see why it broke all the rules? It's sn amazing love story. And though I have many books on my keeper shelf, this one sits at number ONE.
Great post, Pam! I love your cover!
