Joanne, I love Mary Jane Clark's books! That is a fun prize! I hope you all will join my mailing list at www.katecarlisle.com for a chance to win my contests! Thanks for a fun day!

Hi Tammy! That's a fun prize! Hope you won the calendar toward the beginning of the year so you could enjoy it all year long. :)

Oh, Lexi, see you're the kind of reader we LOOOOVE! I hope you'll love the Bibliophile Mystery series enough to tell your friends about it!

Cheryl, Thank you for your comments! I agree! It's very important that we authors make sure we keep our websites current so readers know what's coming up next, and the correct order for the books already available. I hope you'll check out my site. I think you'll get a real kick out of Brooklyn's map of San Francisco! I had so much fun putting that together!

Re: One Book In The Grave (5:42pm February 1, 2012):

Thank you for adding ONE BOOK IN THE GRAVE to your list, Colleen! I hope you'll love the story and that you'll enjoy getting to know Brooklyn Wainwright, bookbinder extraordinaire! I've just signed on to do three more Bibliophile Mystery books, in addition to the two coming out next year, so you'll have lots of fun reading ahead.

Hi, Suzanne! Thank you so much for stopping by! You're so sweet. See, this is EXACTLY what I mean about readers being a true community!

Re: One Book In The Grave (12:45pm February 1, 2012):

Hi, Linda! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! I love hearing from new readers. :) Enjoy! You can read the first chapter of all my books for free at www.katecarlisle.com.

Debbie, Thank you so much for your comment. It's good to know that readers enjoy personal glimpses into authors' lives. My family is actually pretty similar to Brooklyn's family in the Bibliophile Mystery series. If you've read any of the books, that will tell you something about me! If you haven't read them yet, then pick up ONE BOOK IN THE GRAVE next week. After you read it, you'll say, "Oooooooooohhhhh! So THAT'S what she was talking about!" :)

Re: One Book In The Grave (9:50am February 1, 2012):

Connie, your post made me smile big time! I think you're going to love ONE BOOK IN THE GRAVE because YES! there are some details on how antique books are repaired. I've taken bookbinding classes for years as a hobby, and my love for the book arts is what led me to start this series. I get comments frequently from readers who love learning something new, while enjoying a true whodunit.

Good luck in the contest for the jigsaw puzzle. On the Contests page on my website, please be sure to scroll down to see the Bibliophile Mystery word search booklet that you can send in for.

Diane, I was SO bad about blogging regularly! My life just isn't that interesting to write something every day. I do blog with the Romance Bandits, though. We're a fun group! www.romancebandits.com

And, of course, I'm on Facebook just about every day. www.facebook.com/katecarlislebooks

Re: One Book In The Grave (9:42am February 1, 2012):

Peggy, Thank you! I'm so glad the cover of ONE BOOK IN THE GRAVE attracts you. I adore my covers! They're so homey and, well, cozy... as befits a cozy mystery. :)

I have a bio on my website. If you haven't read it already, I'll give you a hint... For years, I worked in TV. You'll have to go to www.katecarlisle.com to find out what shows I worked on. Fun times!
