Kim, it was so wonderful to meet you,
and a pleasure to read your
publication story. I identify with
everything you said! The first romance
I read was actually more women's
fiction, I think, The Proud Breed by
Celeste de Blasis, when I was 12.
Shanna, by Kathleen Woodiwiss, was
second. Both of those books had a
profound influence on me, and in fact
both of them are still right here on my
desk, along with Woodiwiss's The Wolf
& the Dove and A Rose in Winter, as I
refer to them frequently and reread
them as often as possible. I can't wait
to dive in to Lake Magic! All the best!
