Hi Sigrun, what a wonderful way to view reading a book. Actually, Zi, is intensely logical, turtle-minded logical, has nothing on the Slowski family, and belongs to the Snail Logic Trail Society. It’s his logic that sees into the hearts, minds and souls of the characters. Angelica brings the spirit, that part that is intangible, for once Zi points out the logic, she unearths the illogical portions that exist in all humans. Being intuitive means having awareness and we suggest that logical people are the most aware of all. Ang: Too preachy. Zi: There you go with that dang soap box again. Give it to me! Thank you. Ang: Thank you for reading.
You are so correct, Rosemary, about our natural curiosity. Sometimes, as our blog states, we tend to find obscure ways to sate that curiosity but speculation is more fun. Not to be confused with the buying, holding, and selling of stocks, commodities, futures… Although that could be quite fun if you have the courage and finances… There we go again, digressing. We meant, speculation as in the form of musing, pondering, lying… errr… making up plausible backgrounds. Ok… backtracking, we must admit lying in fiction is, well, what fiction is all about with a nice foundation of reality to base it upon. Ang: Did we digress again and again? Zi: Yup, you did that. Ang: Why didn’t you stop me? Zi: Does a bull pee downwind? Ang: Huh? Zi: Think about it. Rosemary, we are tickled to provide you reading material, that’s why we do it, to make you twitter and laugh and shiver and… and… and… Zi: What direction does a bull shat?
Robin, hello, great to meet you. It is often quite fun to make up a couple’s romance. Heavens, they could be on a first date and we’d have them married five years with six children. Ang: Would not. Zi: Ok, seven. Ang: That’s better…. (Back to our commentators… who are us… but as… oh never mind) Zi is fully into studying human behavior, whereas, Angelica is fully into picking Zi’s mind about human behavior. They often banter back and forth about what if, why, how come, would they, wouldn’t they??? The only difference between us and you, Robin, is that it is our job to bring the reader the best reality our imaginations can supply.
Hey Theresa, imagination is like doing crunches for the mind. It is the only place you can literally fly to the moons with actual wings, or win the lottery, or… oh you get the idea. So, if you can imagine, you are creative, if you are creative you can do anything you want to do whether it is writing a book or taking a painting class, or just reorganizing your calendar with flair and smiley faces. Just your being on a site all about books shows you have a well-exercised imagination with a bend for creativity. According to Jules de Gaultier, “Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality.” (Soon the recruiting armed services of the U.S. Forces of Imagine This and That will be at your door. No use trying to hide… they’ll find you)
Karin, so, you’ve been wanting to ask? And what sort of questions do you have? Inquiring nosey-bodies want to know. Curiosity is a grand thing, it activates your mind, makes you observant which is conducive to new ideas, it brings excitement into your life because nothing is ever dull, and it opens up your world turning probability into possibility. If you have the yen to write… write… you already have the inquisitive mind and a computer. We’re certain you also are a brewing and bubbling cauldron of ideas. Zi says: Aren’t you a month early with the witch reference? Ang: Hey, Halloween is nearly picked over, there’s already Christmas on the retailer’s shelf. It is so… Zi: Ut oh, soap box time. Ang: We’re talking about soap? Zi: Actually, it’s all about Karin, you nearly forgot that! Ang: (Looks sheepish) Sorry. Thank you for the comment, Karin, great to hear from you. Write!
