I enjoys Jeffrey Dervers's The Bone Collector which is a handicap character. I remembered reading fan fiction involving Ironside (played by Raymond Burr) However many years ago, i read the book The Best Year of Our Lives, which they made the classic movie from. But this is the first time i been intrigued with a amputee hero
