Hired to document the Rose family's history, CanDee McCain arrived at the Texas Rose Ranch for a six-week stay where she was promptly mistaken for the stripper Cinco Rose's brothers had hired for his birthday. It was an honest mistake as his brothers always hired a stripper for his birthday.  After making the appropriate and numerous apologies, Cinco felt an instant attraction to CanDee. Turns out that the feeling is mutual.  Would it be enough to form a relationship when CanDee's research uncovers shocking information?

Katie Graykowski has created terrific, three-dimensional characters.  They are vibrant and affable, but  CanDee and Cinco come with serious baggage.  Both had been hurt badly by their previous partners and the narrative digs deep into this. The dialogue is witty and the characters' banter will have readers laughing out loud-a lot! Even so, the characters grapple with serious issues such as trust, independence, and honesty.  The secondary characters are a vital part of this story as are the subplots. 

TEXAS ROSE FOREVER (a Texas Rose Ranch novel) by Katie Graykowski is a heartwarming story about second chances for romance.  Well-plotted and lively, it is a pleasure to read.  Highly recommended.
