Pippa didn't want a home on the side of a cliff. But Pippa did whatever Gabe asked of her so they bought the house. The cliffs were known in the small cozy season town as The Drop because people always went there to commit suicide. 

One day as Pippa's family is visiting, Pippa looks outside and finds there's a woman by the cliff. She sends Gabe out immediately as she calls the cops. She goes back to Freya and Asha, her young girls, and tries to distract herself. Just as she looks away the woman has gone over and she can't believe it. Gabe is known in town as a hero because he saved eight people from going over the cliff's edge. Pippa can not believe that Gabe let this one woman fall. The cops arrive and Gabe tells them everything about how the woman fell... or did she? 

As the story continues we have multiple narratives--one is of Pippa's current life and her life in the past. Another narrative is of the dead woman, Amanda, before she jumped and after. 

THE SOULMATE by Sally Hepworth was pretty incredible. I couldn't stop turning pages. Once I thought it couldn't get tenser, the plot twisted again. I loved this heart-stopping, unputdownable book that I'll be telling everyone about. I won't shut up till everyone reads it. Why? Because it is THAT good!!
